Beavers (6-8 year olds)

Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.

The Beaver Scout Section

Being a Beaver is fun with lots of activities such as making things, playing games, singing, going on visits, investigating nature, learning how to be safe and most importantly making new friends.

Our Beaver Colony meets every Tuesday, during term time, from 6:00 pm and 7:15 pm at St Saviour’s Church Hall.

Beaver Scout Promise

Beaver Scouts have the option of the following promises depending on which one they (and their parents) feel most comfortable with.

For Christians, Jews and Sikhs:

I promise to do my best,
to be kind and helpful
and to love God.

For Muslims:

I promise to do my best,
to be kind and helpful,
and to love Allah.

For Hindus and Buddhists:

I promise to do my best,
to be kind and helpful,
and to love my Dharma.

For Humanists, Atheists and those of no defined faith:

I promise to do my best,
to be kind and helpful,
and to love our World.

Beaver Scout Law

There is no formal Beaver Scout Law. The concepts expressed in the Scout Law should be conveyed to the Beaver Scouts through games, storytelling and other informal activities.
